The Plant Emporium – Shipping & Shop Display Policy

Shipping Policy

At The Plant Emporium, we take great care to ensure that all plants and products arrive safely, securely, and in excellent condition.

Order Processing

Orders are prepared and packed with care before dispatch. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order size, and seasonal demand. Customers will be notified if there is a significant delay with their order.

Plant Packaging

Live plants are carefully wrapped and secured to minimise movement and damage during transportation. Where necessary, protective packaging is used around pots, foliage, and other delicate parts of the plant.

We aim to use recyclable, reusable, or environmentally responsible packaging wherever practical.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control, including courier delays, severe weather, public holidays, and seasonal demand.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. The Plant Emporium cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information supplied at checkout.

Receiving Live Plants

Customers should unpack live plants as soon as possible after delivery and check their condition. Plants may experience minor movement, loose soil, or temporary stress during transportation. This is normal and will usually resolve with appropriate care.

If a plant arrives significantly damaged, customers should contact The Plant Emporium as soon as possible after delivery and provide photographs of the plant and packaging so that we can assess the issue.

Display in Shops

Plants and products supplied by The Plant Emporium for display or resale in shops must be handled and presented appropriately to maintain their quality and appearance.

Retailers should:

  • Keep live plants in suitable light and temperature conditions.

  • Water and care for plants according to their individual requirements.

  • Avoid placing plants next to heaters, strong draughts, air-conditioning outlets, or other conditions that could cause damage.

  • Keep displays clean, tidy, safe, and attractive to customers.

  • Remove damaged, unhealthy, or unsaleable plants from customer-facing displays where appropriate.

  • Ensure products are displayed securely and do not create a hazard for customers or staff.

  • Follow any plant-care, merchandising, branding, or display guidance supplied by The Plant Emporium.

Where The Plant Emporium provides branded display materials, signs, labels, stands, or other merchandising equipment, these should be used for their intended purpose and kept in good condition.

Unless otherwise agreed, retailers must not alter The Plant Emporium branding, labels, packaging, or promotional materials in a way that could misrepresent the brand or the products supplied.

Responsibility for Shop Displays

Once plants have been delivered and accepted by a retail location, the retailer is responsible for their day-to-day care and maintenance unless a separate plant-maintenance or display agreement is in place.

The Plant Emporium cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by inadequate watering, unsuitable positioning, excessive heat or cold, poor handling, or other conditions within the retailer's premises.
